GRIT New York was founded in 2011 as an alternative to the large agency sterile "templatized" churn and burn execution approach to event production.
We felt that that a high-touch bespoke model of production was critically important to create events which truly set themselves apart and find a much deeper value return for our clients.
In the decade following this realization, we have successfully employed this model at every level of event complexity and have built an incredibly deep stable of venue, production partner, vendors, and MOST importantly - our amazingly talented and diverse team.
We find that our agencies agility and capability to quickly scale up and down with the client need has proven itself time and again with some of the most iconic events and stage productions out there in the past decade.

ANNE K. BUOVOLO
Anne has a long history in the event world. She created and produced parties in the NYC underground scene in the early 2000's as well as a promoter for many of the legendary clubs in the city such as .....
During this time she also held an incredibly successful career as a real estate banker until the industry collapsed in 2008.
It was after this implosion that she decided to put all her energy and focus on levaraging her network and experience built over the past the past decade to found an event production agency which ultimately became GRIT New York.

DAVID L. DORRIER
Dave spent a 20+ year career as an officer, project and program manager in the Financial Services, Technology and VC start up space where he acquired deep management, team building and execution experience.
As a deeply creative person in his own right, he shared the vision for GRIT New York and viewed it as the "yang" to his corporate "yin".
Focused on overall agency tactical and strategic operations management he leveraged his experience to help build the agency into what it is today by deploying disciplined project management and delivery practices while keeping the bespoke client experience as the north star and most critical component of GRIT's value proposition.
He feeds his creative side through deep involvement in artist relations, content distribution management as well as on-site operational event execution for GRIT.
